Kerboo now appearing in Google product search

Kerboo’s product feed is now appearing in the Google product search listing and also in the main search results.

This one is a nice example as you can’t avoid noticing the Kerboo tick…

New Version of KerBoo launches

Well it is only 3 months old but the first version of the Kerboo site has been retired and version 2 has now gone live.

Featuring an improved navigation system and masses of new products Kerboo version 2 is a great improvement.

3M Select looking good

Its great to see a site from a big corporate like 3M come from a stage when it wasn’t all it could be and transform under the watchful eye of someone skilled into a site that can take the brand on.

It must be really hard to operate within such a large organisation and yet still deliver an end result that works. So many people in major corporations just don’t get it, they can’t see where we are headed and they cant feel the channel and the market changing.

With that pressure delivering something that works is a great achievement for the team.

Well done 3M Select.

Road map for changes

Just an update for anyone keeping tabs on us :)

We have quite a lengthy feature list that we wish to add to the site, the biggest item on there by far at the moment though is categories.

Before we start to add in more and more products we really need to get in place a better way to find them so I started the process of browsing round to find examples of people who do it well.

Love the drop downs – quick and easy access but would like to have seen the buy by brand etc as drop downs too. Im never sure how people want to find things, lord knows I find things in wierd ways too!

Nicer with more options, love the contextual sidebar.

However Kerboo is about reducing the price for our customers and both of these options have a huge manpower cost in setting up and maintaining the catalogue structure.

However we have a plan… we always have a plan… In testing we have been able to categorise several thousand products in less than 30 minutes so far.

We hope to launch the new functionality in the coming week or two along with a few updates to the site architecture too.

We have added the Rite Lok range

Over night we pushed out the Rite Lok range of cyanoacrylate adhesives as part of our commitment to add as full a range of 3M items as we can as soon as we can.

Competing with the Loctite and Permabond ranges in the UK RiteLok is a great addition to the 3M Range

Product Ranges Revealed

Anyone who has been poking around the site (Come on admit it….) will have a good idea about what product ranges we have added so far.

The idea is to add ranges as we get the logistics sorted for each one and now we have a way of letting you see them in an easier way.

See our Product Range page to see the current ranges

So now you dont have to be Sherlock Holmes to know what we do :)

Getting closer to launch, time to tie down details

Its getting close, launch is just around the corner and its time to step back from the code and look at the business.

Have we got the pricing right, how can we make it even cheaper…

Is there a fairer way to do the carriage charges that makes it easy for people

Funding is ready and soon we will get to test this business model with real people. Real people with real bills and real savings to make, personally I cant wait to help…
